PurpleBiz Changes

PurpleBiz ChangesProgress and improvement are inevitable if you want to grow and succeed. In the past six months I thought so much about PurpleBiz changes and how to make it successful. In January, I started on the blueprint. I had many challenges such as adding new functionalities, improve performance and changing the design and our policy. I could fullfil most of them and as of today May 15, 2016, most of the PurpleBiz Changes completed and the new site is operational and active based on the following terms:

PurpleBiz Changes, Terms and Policies

  1. Our Terms of Service, Copyright, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy have been updated.
  2. Affiliate Program discontinued.
  3. We are centralizing our sales via our US partner.
  4. Our site is open to the public.
  5. We track users and members activities by cookies. Visitors activities are tracked anonymously but members activities, are tracked non-anonymously.
  6. New features such as posting press release and corporate news added and is available to SME and ENTERPRISE members
  7. Product gallery added to the members’ profile
  8. Map support added to the address of members
  9. Members can now add their social network links to their profile
  10. We have added monthly payment to our Standard, SME and Enterprise services
  11. SME and Enterprise Members have the option to verify their posting address as well as their business. Verifying your business gives credit and trust to visitors and we believe this will help visitors consider Verified members as a reliable Business. However, this does not mean that we guarantee a verified member. Verification just is a proof that this company is a registered company in their country and is active.
  12. We are now accepting membership fee from 6 major credit cards such as Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, JCB and American Express. We no longer accept PayPal.

In order to complete these changes, Discover, we have to follow and act based on international laws and must follow OFAC restrictions. Therefore, we had to discontinue our service for the countries that those restrictions apply and remove the country name as well. We may resume our service to those countries when OFAC updates the list and remove their name from the list.

I want to thank all those who helped me on these changes and improvements of PurpleBiz, specially Amir Shakeri (PurpleBiz CMO), and Rusty McMillen. I couldn’t do this without their support.
